You know how little I like writing. It makes me pensive and thoughtful, and I hate that. I've never liked second guessing myself. What good comes of it? All it gives you is regret.

Left to his own devices, Snape would no doubt continue as he'd done most of his life, and snatch the occasional bite here and there, whenever he could spare a few minutes from the lab.
